Keith & Jennifer Gardiner
Owners of Bar KJ Angus
Keith’s passion began over 60 years ago when he declared “farmer” as his dream job on a TV game show—and he’s stayed true to that calling ever since. He showed cattle across the country and was part of Cal Poly SLO’s national champion livestock judging team. Over the years, Keith built a successful farming company, and in 2012, expanded his family of businesses by founding Rancheria Land & Livestock then in 2018 Bar KJ Angus with Jennifer by his side.
Geordy & Debbie Wise
Geordy serves as Director of Farming for the Gardiner Family and plays an integral role in the Bar KJ program—especially in sire selection and genetic planning. Debbie, our general manager, has a heart for feeding both cattle and people. She’s proud to have raised her daughters in the stock show world and values the lifestyle this business provides. As a hands-on leader, Debbie places a strong emphasis on structure and genetic selection—ensuring the cattle we produce are sound, functional, and built to perform for our customers.
Gracen Hayes
Our cattle manager, Gracen was raised in a generational ranching family where a love for good cattle runs deep. His father’s commitment to Angus cattle that perform in commercial programs helped shape Gracen’s passion for building cattle from the ground up—starting with structure, backed by genetics, and made to last. His strong work ethic and day-to-day leadership keep our cowherd sharp, sound, and moving forward.
Emily Wise
Emily Wise brings a fresh, creative edge to the Bar KJ Angus program. Raised in the heart of the livestock industry and deeply involved in the show cattle world from a young age, Emily returned to the ranch after graduating from Oklahoma State University to lead our marketing and customer service efforts. She has a sharp eye for design and a deep appreciation for good cattle. From sale-day planning to social media and customer communication, Emily ensures every part of the Bar KJ experience reflects the quality of the cattle and the integrity of the people behind them.
